BULLEEN · OPEN 24 HOURS

A Bulleen locksmith, awake when you need one.

Lockouts, lost keys and worn deadlocks across Bulleen, Templestowe Lower and Doncaster. One number, answered at any hour.

What happens when you call

These are new numbers, so there is nothing to quote back at you yet. What we can tell you is exactly how the job runs.

01

You are told when, honestly

The arrival window comes from where the van is right now. If it slips you get a call, not silence.

02

Quoted once, charged once

You hear the price on the phone and again before any tool comes out. It is the same number on the invoice.

03

The lock survives the job

Picks and bypass first, every time. Nothing gets drilled without you agreeing to it and knowing the replacement cost.

04

No middle man

The person who takes your call is the person who arrives. Nothing is passed to whichever contractor happens to be free.

What we do in Bulleen

Six things make up nearly all of our work. Anything outside them, ask – if it is not something we do properly we will say so.

Working in Bulleen

Bulleen runs along the Yarra flats, and much of the housing is 1960s and 70s brick veneer on wide blocks, with a newer band of townhouses closer to Bulleen Road. Older aluminium sliding doors and original deadlatches are the common call here.

We work from 170 Bulleen Rd, a short run from the Veneto Club and Bulleen Plaza.

Questions we get asked

How long to get to Bulleen?
Usually 20 to 30 minutes, and quicker on the Manningham Road side. You get the actual time on the phone rather than a stock answer, so if we are on a job in Doncaster you hear that up front.
My front door is solid timber in double brick. Can it be opened without damage?
Yes, and that is the right question to ask. Those doors are heavy and the frame is unforgiving, so forcing them wrecks the jamb long before the lock gives. Picks and bypass tools open a mortice lock cleanly.
The key for my old mortice lock has snapped and nobody stocks the blank.
We decode the lock itself and cut a key to match, which is normally cheaper than replacing hardware that has another thirty years in it. We carry blanks for older European and Australian mortice sets.
What does it cost at 2am?
There is an after-hours rate, you are told it on the phone, and it is the figure you pay. Nothing gets added at the door and there is no separate callout charge.
Do you cover Templestowe and Doncaster?
Yes. Templestowe, Templestowe Lower, Doncaster, Balwyn North, Ivanhoe East and Heidelberg are all a short run from Bulleen at the same rate.
